3 – Read the Declaration of Independence, Article of Confederation and the US Constitution - Preamble, and Articles (NOT including the Bill of Rights or amendments that will be in Masters) you can Google search or use these links.

4– Take the Citizenship and Naturalization test.
Immigrants wish to become US citizens must correctly answer 6 out of 10 US Civics questions. We should be able to get 18 out of 20. chose a test. Honestly, grade your test. Record your score in your commonplace book. If you get less than 18, take the test until you get 18 out of 20. There is a bonus question.

A) Make a model or large map from your colony (from month one) showing how you would travel to Philadelphia or another city. Show where you stop (faster travel would be 30 mile per day but could be slower.) What river would you have to cross? What other obstacles? If the war is happening (1776), how wold you get passed the British? What type of aid or opposition would you encounter?

B) Do a hero report on a delegate of your choosing. Give biographical information (birth, place, family, service during the revolution and Constitution writing, an impressive fact)
C) Write a journal entry as someone who is serving as a delegate to The Continental Congress (Declaration of Independence). Who would you be representing? What would your position be? Which side would you be on? Would you support the document in it’s final form or would you argue and fight for a change of something. (Slavery could be the issue or something else)
